I remember first time looking at Aine , She was sitting all alone on the first bench , she had curly hair, brown eyes, droopy eyes and a mole on top of her left eyebrow . Now don't think I'm a creep I'm just a keen observer so hence the details. I sat on the next bench . As the teacher entered the room all the students became quiet and As the class started I discovered that Aine was quiet smart , she answered most of the questions and was quiet hyper active in class and had very interesting doubts . If honestly one would ask me my first impression about her, it came out as rude , over achiever , and proud of herself.
but then as I got to know her, I knew one thing this is one hell of twisted character , you know how we judge people sometimes and know exactly if they are white , black or a grey character . Not in case of Aine I would tell she's Lilac! so yeah this was the summer of 2014 , we were all in high school and I was a new student , not knowing anything obviously scared and I just wanted to stop moving because its difficult to get adjusted to some place and then again move , felt like a Gypsy!
So as I was emotionally drained but yet was forced to go to school , so what choice does a 13 year old has so I did go to school and my first encounter was Aine , Now I joined in the mid term so I was told that I would need extra help with my credits and academics hence I was told I need to get tutored by Aine , Aine was everything You can imagine , She was excellent in Academics , Good at sports , good at extra curricular activities basically she was allrounder and on top of all of these she was very attractive and also kind! How God how?
Now that You have sensed my jealousy I will not lie I was jealous of her as a teenager I guess that was justified . Well I feel most of the people were jealous of her but would act so nice in front of her . she was quite popular except she didn't come as mean though like all of the popular teens . She was quiet humble ,yet very serious most of time, I guess that's the reason Why people had a impression of her as Rude , because she kept a poker face she's the one to blame. So next day Aine approached me and said that she had a fixed schedule and she would be able to teach me only after school . so having no choice haunted by the trauma of new school and all the zombies here , I decided that If I had to save my grades I had no choice but get tutored by her . So without even thinking once I said I would stay back after school and then study with her , to which she nodded and rushed towards staff room . you know as much as I hated Aine , I did feel pity for her because she would literally help everyone! let it be teachers , students , office staff even office staff sometimes , it was like everyone used her for their convenience. I literally never saw her laugh , all the time having this resting bitch face . But that afternoon I saw her laughing so hard , I turned to see if it was real ? and I wondered what made this creature to smile so hard ? Then I saw it was her best friends Oscar and Ava . Now Oscar and Ava were polar opposites as compared to her . But she genuinely seemed happy with them ,That day I realized though Aine was very popular she was very selective about her people and just had 2 best since her 1st grade .lot of people knew her but no one was actually her friend . So as the school ended as promised she taught me Math that day ,If you know me I'm the most awkward person you will ever meet , so obviously I made a cloud of awkwardness during our interaction . So what do you do if someone asks You a simple question as How was your day ? you would sanely reply as good or just fine but what did I do I said thank you!! great now along with knowing that I'm dumb at Math she knows I'm a weirdooo!
she just smiled awkwardly and said " lets start with algebra "?I said "sure"(I wanted to run as fast as I could and shift to Antarctica)
As she was teaching I was trying to concentrate and couldn't help but notice crooked front tooth so yeah she wasn't really that perfect. so she just taught me and gave me few sums to work on , I was doing quiet okay I must tell she was indeed a smart teacher , and then session was over and we decided to leave . As My brother came to pick me up I noticed she was walking towards her home , I offered to give her a ride but she politely refused and continued walking . As she was walking home I noticed she had science notebook and revising her lesson god what a geek ? ! she was exactly my age knew everything had everything figured out and here I was popping pimples... they said lemon would heal all acne well they lied ! till now I have acne scars on my forehead making me look like penurious version of Harry potter , Well till now you might feel what a jealous freak but trust me I have always had a love hate relation with character of Aine , you know how you hate someone so much that eventually fall in love with them... well same thing happened with me . You will get to know more and more layers of Aine as you will read more about her , she's more than a overachiever , a perfect girl with many mysteries.....
